How to Stitch a Chaniya Choli? (for 10-12 years old baby)
For 10 year baby you have to take the 3 meter long cloth.
STEP1-: First take the measures of Chaniya & Choli:
Measures for Choli:-
A = Length (From Shoulder to Waist) + 2 in
B = Breadth(Chest circumference ) + 2 in
Front neck: 4 in
Back neck: 2 in
Shoulder = Shoulder to Shoulder + 2 in dived by 2
Measures for the Chaniya:-
Chaniya Waist Size = Actual Waist Size + 2 in
Chaniya Length = Length (From Waist to Ankle) + 4 in
Measure for the sleeves:- See the figure.
STEP2-: Seeing the figure, mark and cut the cloth.
Choli Stitching:
First fold 1/2 in from both the sides. Next join both shoulder pieces.Seeing the figure join a paipin on front neck and back neck. Now join both the sides,Now attach the sleeves.
Your Choli is ready!
Chaniya Stitching:
Seeing the figure fold 1 in from bottom side. Now fold waist side 2 in (insert a dori). Now join the sides.
Your Chaniya is ready!
Congratulations!!! Your Chaniya Choli is ready!!!
