How to Stitch a Chaniya Choli?

How to Stitch a Chaniya Choli? (for 10-12 years old baby)

For 10 year baby you have to take the 3 meter long cloth.

STEP1-: First take the measures of Chaniya & Choli:

Measures for Choli:- 
A = Length (From Shoulder to Waist) + 2 in
B = Breadth(Chest circumference ) + 2 in
Front neck: 4 in
Back neck: 2 in
Shoulder = Shoulder to Shoulder + 2 in dived by 2

Measures for the Chaniya:-
Chaniya Waist Size = Actual Waist Size + 2 in
Chaniya Length = Length (From Waist to Ankle)  + 4 in

Measure for the sleeves:- See the figure.

STEP2-: Seeing the figure, mark and cut the cloth.

Choli Stitching:
First fold 1/2 in from both the sides. Next join both shoulder pieces.Seeing the figure join a paipin on front neck and back neck. Now join both the sides,Now attach the sleeves.
Your Choli is ready!          

Chaniya Stitching:
Seeing the figure fold 1 in from bottom side. Now fold waist side 2 in (insert a dori). Now join the sides.
Your Chaniya is ready!

Congratulations!!! Your Chaniya Choli is ready!!!

STEP1-: First take1and 1/2 half metre long cloth.
STEP2-: Now take the measurement according to this :-
         A-:Length(waist up to knee)+2inch.
         B-:Waist measure+12 inch.
         C-:Waist measure+1inch and Breadth: 4 inch, for making a belt which would be joined on skirt                      
STEP3-: Now mark and cut the cloth.
STEP5-: First1inch from bottom side. Now make stresses from upside (1/2 inch).
STEP6-: Seeing the figure stitch the belt.
STEP7-:Now attach your belt with skirt.
          Your short skirt is ready!

How to stitch a 3/4th legging?
STEP1-: First so take the measures according to:
               length:   waist to knee (or as long as you like) +2 inch.
               breadth: Waist + 10inch divided by 4.
              bottom side circumference+1inch.
              *If your age is more then10 years then put there 2and1/2inch,otherwise put there 1and 
               1/2inch.
Now we will start stitching.
STEP2-: First fold 1/2inch from bottom side and then insert an elastic. Now you have to fold waist 
              side 1inch and insert a 1/2 inch broad elastic there.Next you have to join both piece bottom to centre separately
             Now join both the pieces.
 And your Simple Heram is ready!

How to stitch Simple Semicircular Hand Bag?
STEP1-: Take 1 metre long cloth pieces one of canvas and other of simple cloth.                                                                      
STEP2-: Seeing the figure  fold your cloth and cut both the cloth pieces.
STEP3-: Cut two cloth pieces for the belt according to:
               length: 15 cm
             breadth:   3 cm
Seeing the figure make the belt.
STEP4-: Attach both the belt pieces with both the cloth pieces.
STEP5-: Now join both the cloth pieces.
              If you wish you can attach open side one loop or big button.

               length:   Side length (waist to as long as you need)+2 inch.
               breadth: Waist+10 inch divided by 4.
               Bottom side circumference+1inch.

How to stitch a urep Petticoat?

STEP1-: Take two metre long cloth.
STEP2-: Seeing the figure fold and cut the cloth.
STEP3-: For cutting:-
                                  length  : measure of your length from waist to how long you need+2 inch
                                  breadth: From waist side only.Waist+2inch.
Fold the cloth half. Seeing the figure and fold the cloth.
First fold bottom side 1 inch inside.
STEP4-: Now join both the pieces.
STEP5-: Then make a belt whose breadth is 4inch and length is equal to your waist.
Now fold this 4 inch inside. Make it 2inch for rope or elastic. Seeing the figure join both the pieces.
STEP6-: Insert a rope or a elastic on your waist side.

STEP1-: Take 1 metre long cloth and also take 1metre canvas cloth.
STEP2-: First cut both the cloth and the canvas of 1/2 metre and keep it seperate.
STEP3-: Take the other 1/2 metre of cloth and cut it according to the figure.
STITCHING
STEP4-: First you have to join all pieces of same size on the canvas cloth.
STEP5-: Seeing the figure do the folds. Join all the three sides keep one side open and fold 1/2 inch inside. First you have join half metre cloth which one you kept aside.And fold all four side and put a less for looking good.

How to stitch a Simple Pillow Cover?
STEP1-: First you have to take the half meter long cloth.
Now take your pillow cover's measure according to:
1-: Length+1 and 1/2 inch.
2-: Breadth+1inch.
STEP2-: You have to fold your cloth.
STEP3-: Now do the marking and cut your cloth.
STEP4-: First you have to fold 1/2 inch from bottom and both the sides of the cloth inside (keep one side of the cloth open)
STEP5-: Now you have to stitch  the three sides of the cloth.
STEP6-: Now if you wish you can put buttons on the open side of the cloth.

How to make a INDIAN LADIES MAXI ?

MEASUREMENT
Firstly we will take the the measure.
A-Length[shoulder to waist ]+1inch
B-Chest [circumference] divided by 4+1
C-Front neck 3 inch or as long as your wish
D-Back neck 1 inch or as long as wish
E-Length[waist to bottom how long you need]
F-length [Shoulder to shoulder]
G-Sleeve length +1 inch (optional)
H-Sleeve [circumference]+half inch (optional)
MARKING AND CUTTING
While marking on the cloth do consider the figure. Cut the cutting lines given.
STITCHING
First we will join both the shoulder pieces. Now fold the front and back neck. Fold half inch from bottom and join both the pieces of the cloth.
MARKING AND CUTTING OF THE SLEEVES
Now we will take the cloth and cut the sleeve according to the figure.
First we will fold half inch inside.Now join the sleeve with your maxi.

Your maxi is ready!

How to stitch a Long Skirt?

How to stitch Long skirt?

MEASUREMENT
Step1-:Firstly we will take the following measures-
A-: Length(waist to ankle) add 2 inch
B-: Measure (Waist )+15 divided by 2
If measure of our A is 18inch, we will add 2inch. So we will take 20 inch long cloth. And if our waist is 21 inch. We will add 15 and divide it by 2, so we get 18 (21+15=36/2=18). So breadth of the cloth should be 18 inch.

MARKING AND CUTTING
Step2-:Now we will mark the cloth according to the drawing.There is one exact line also you have to draw your stitching line.

STITCHING
Step3-: Start stitcthing from waist side. Fold 1and 1/2 inch for Rope or elastic. Fold 1/2 inch from downside.

Now you have to stitch the sides and your long skirt is ready.

How to make a sleeveless mini frock?

MEASUREMENT
Firstly we will take the measures:
A-: Length [shoulder to waist]+2
B-: Waist +5 divided by 4
C-: Length (shoulder to shoulder) +2 divided by 2
D-: Length (waist to knee) +1 and half inch
E-: Waist +10 divided by 2
F-: Front and back neck 2 inch or as long as your wish.

MARKING AND CUTTING:
Now we will start marking.
You have to mark on your cloth. One exact measure line also you have to draw that is your stitching line.and cut the cloth.

STITCHING:
First we will join both the shoulder pieces. Next fold both front and back side neck.
Now we have to fold both sides of arm.
Next we will take second piece of cloth and fold it half inch from down side and upper side full waist we will put quarter inch stresses.
Then join upper and lower pieces of waist.
Now your mini frock is ready.

A-Length (waist to ankle)+1 inch
B-Waist +6 inches divided by 6

MARKING AND CUTTING
Step2-Now we will mark on the cloth according to the figure.

STITCHING
Step3-We have to fold 1 inch from downside. And join all sides according to figure.

Step4-Now we will take a cloth piece which is long as your waist +2 inch and breadth is 4 inch.
Step5-Now fold this cloth and join both the pieces. You have to see the figure and stitch.Then you have to put one rope (dori a word used in Indian phenomenon ).


Step6-Now your petticoat is ready.
